1) Turn on range extender only. 2) Wait 30-40 secs. 3) Turn on controller and then turn on Phantom. 4) Wait 30 secs. 5) Boot up your mobile device. Wait an additional 30 secs or so while the device boots up. 6) Sign on or swipe or whatever to get to the main screen of your mobile device.
If your camera isn't responding to the control wheel, check the gimbal advanced settings. Look for "Gimbal Pitch Smooth (0-30)" under each configuration. If it's set to 30 or near 30, the wheel won't work. Adjust it to around 20, and your wheel should control the gimbal pitch (camera movement up and down). This setting came with the app upgrade
Per @quaddamage - "The battery is "intelligent" - when turning it off, it sends message "save settings, power off is imminent" to FC and camera, and waits for acknowledgement. Just to be sure, it sends that message 3 times. If it receives back message "affirmative, settings saved" then it turn off immediately.
The problem is everybody, even the DJI service, will try on one way or another that you need to replace the Sensor itself. YOU DO NOT. The sensor can cost you about $800. 99% of the time YOU JUST NEED TO REPLACE THE FLAT CABLE, with costs $40. Best, Rui.
