I recently upgraded my Windows 10 to version 1903, but after some issue and contacting Microsoft technical support, I've reset my Windows. Now I'm trying to reinstall everything that was installed before reset and one of them is Chocolatey (The package manager for Windows). I tried running both installation command: (for cmd)
I was able to update Chocolatey using the Windows PowerShell script by temporarily turning off McAfee Real-Time scanning and then running PowerShell (as an admin) and using the documented script. Share

Had an idea to write a script that would essentially allow you to update/install apps on a domain by simply typing the name of the app you want in a .txt on a share somewhere, the script could then be set to run at
EDIT: For me to run the script in VSC - open the folder for the script and save .vscode subfolder. (there may be a better method but this works for me.) In VSC (1) File -> open folder (2) Run and Debug -> create a launch.json file -> select Node.js from dropdown. Script runs in VSC Debug Console & Terminal. – Joseph.
